Questions, Answered

Straight answers to what most people want to know before they book.

01

Getting Started

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. Your first 30 minutes with me are free and confidential, with no obligation to book anything afterward.

What happens on the consult call?

We talk for about 30 minutes about what is going on and what you hope will change. You can ask anything about how I work. There is no pressure to book afterward.

How often will we meet?

Most people start weekly, then space sessions out as they make progress. You will decide together in your first session.

How quickly will I see results?

Every person is different, but each session ends with practical next steps, so most clients notice progress week by week rather than after months of talking.

What are your office hours?

Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Concierge clients can access select evening and weekend times.

02

Fees & Privacy

Do you take insurance?

I am private pay, so nothing goes on an insurance record. I can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA and FSA cards are welcome. See fees and insurance.

What does a session cost?

$200 for 60 minutes and $300 for 90 minutes, in person or online. The first 30-minute consult has no fee.

Who will know I'm in therapy?

Only you, unless you choose to share it. Sessions are confidential, and private pay keeps your care off insurance records.

03

Online Sessions

Can we meet online or somewhere private?

Yes. Sessions are available at the Brentwood office or by secure video anywhere in Tennessee. Concierge clients can also meet at home or another private location.

What do I need for an online session?

A private space, a phone or computer with a camera, and a reliable internet connection.

04

Couples

What if my partner isn't ready to come?

You can start on your own. Partners often join later once they see the process is calm and fair.

Do you take sides?

No. I help both of you feel heard and make the patterns between you easier to see.

05

Other Questions

Do you prescribe medication?

No. If medication might help, I am glad to refer you to trusted providers.

What if I am in crisis?

If you are in crisis, call or text 988 any time, day or night, or call 911. Therapy is not an emergency service.
